Poesia is an authentic cachaça from Minas Gerais, produced by the mix of art and technology, following the homemade traditional techniques of the products from Minas Gerais. This state is the main homemade cachaca manufacturer and It is known for its best quality. Born in the mountains of Serra da Mantiqueira at 1.500m altitude, its identity guarantees to the appraisers a product of noble origin, which makes it different from the other cachaças.

Poesia is a pure cachaça neither blended nor palatalized masked. It is bottled exactly as it leaves the still, patterned and rested in neutral wooden barrels, as the “jequitibá” ones (a cariniana tree), for example. We guarantee the pure taste of the truly homemade cachaça, with its amazing and soft ardor spiced with the sweet aroma of the sugar cane.

Each part of the production process counts on an independent and isolated building to assure the best asepsis of the operation. The lack of contaminating agents is the secret of the highly refined taste, which makes Poesia a cachaça of body and soul. In Brazil we have two basic kind of cachaca, the industrial one, lowest quality, large production and lowest price... and the home made one... high quality, and better value on market. The difference on quality is huge, the last one has a rich buque and It is free of nocive substances that cause hangover and liver diseases...
The distillation made in the copper still assures it will be kept in the process only the “heart cachaça”, eliminating the toxic and dangerous substances.This dissociation doesn’t happen in the industrial cachaças, which are distilled in continuous processes through the distillation towers, similar to the ones of the alcohol fuel.
The raw material is produced at our own farm, being capable to control the product's quality and supply. The main raw materials to produce Cachaça Poesia are sugar cane and high quality mineral water.
